HaleMed is an ISO 13485 company , incorporated with an objective of assisting patients and Hospitals in overcoming the new challenges faced by healthcare industry and optimising the healthcare supplies. The manufacturing site is in pristine environment of Dehradun, foothills of Uttarakhand. The promoters of HaleMed have immense experience in this field with their careers in various Indian and multinational companies. We have access to some breakthrough technologies through various hospitals, companies and R&D institutes worldwide which shall be launched in India with local manufacturing by us. We are collaborating & partnering with these companies to optimise the efficacy and price of the products and create market access for them. Our first few technologies have been sourced from companies from Israel and Germany which otherwise would have never sold their products in India due to higher pricing.

India is going through a major change in healthcare delivery. Medical device is the Sunrise sector which has immense potential to provide patients the best technologies at affordable and transparent pricing. However, there is a significant shift where hospital business is moving from patients paying out of pocket to payments made by Insurance companies, Government and various government panels. The out of pocket patient never used to challenge the cost of products used and were easily paying to the hospitals on MRP but the insurance companies and government paying panels are very price sensitive on the package cost. This has resulted in a big gap between the quality manufacturing and supplies of the medical devices.

In this new changing scenario hospitals are trying to strike a balance between expensive imported / big Indian medical device companies and indigenous low-cost medical device companies. The optimisation required is to strike a balance between efficacy of the products and price. On one side are the traditional multinationals who insist on charging a huge price for frugal innovations and on the other side are the Indian companies who have relegated themselves to compromised quality and technology upgrades as they want to win the price wars. The patient is at loss with a compromise between high prices or poor quality.

Our endeavour is to provide the optimal product solution to the hospitals at affordable price with world class quality and safety. Our first manufacturing site in the pristine environment of Dehradun will be able to deliver products, which will have perfect optimisation between price and quality of medical devices.
